Episode 173 — 'Digging Up The Past'
Jodi asks Riley about the manacles she found in the dam, and he jokingly puts them round her wrist. As Jodi struggles to free her hand, she hears an eerie sound — an aural flash of intuition. Is that someone running and panting, or is it just Tayler approaching? Jodi reacts, pulling herself free of the manacles. But the manacles have left their mark upon her — just the hint of some blood. When a sale falls through, Matt, who's started working for Jim Selkirk, arranges for him to buy them. Bringing the sheep in, Jodi discovers an angry rash has developed on her wrists and ankles. Disturbed, Jodi tests the manacles and has a clear aural flash this time. What is happening to her? Matt arrives later that evening with some paperwork. Jodi discovers the manacles have found their way back inside. Jodi freaks when the lights suddenly go out, and Matt is on hand to comfort her. The next morning, Jodi and Stevie are both surprised when Matt turns up to help them bring in the sheep. Hasn't he got work of his own that he's meant to be doing? Matt assures them that it's fine, and they accept his help. But when Jodi arrives at Selkirks to drop off the paperwork, Matt is being given the sack, for ignoring his duties. Jodi is appalled — he's lost his job for her. She can't believe he'd put her in that sort of position! When the manacles turn up again, Jodi decides the manacles are trouble — everything started going wrong from the second they turned up. She buries them, only to have to dig them up again when a second set of manacles is found in a chest in the secret room that Tayler falls into. Putting the two sets together, Jodi finds they are a perfect fit — and the marks on her wrist and ankle disappear. Believing Regan should be arriving back from her mother's, Tayler is worried when she hasn't arrived. She's not about to let anyone know, however, preferring to make a big show of how very unconcerned she is. Really, however, she's desperately worried that Regan won't come back … and she'll then be left with nowhere to go. When she and Patrick find an injured possum inside the house, Tayler insists on caring for it. The possum later dies — and Tayler's abandonment fears heighten. Moira discovers another possum in the roof, and Tayler volunteers to set a trap for it. In doing so, she crashes through the ceiling and finds herself trapped in a tiny, secret room. Stevie's furious when Tayler's nowhere to be found. Moira goes searching and finally hears Tayler's cries for help. Moira's puzzled, however — it sounds like Tayler is trapped inside an upstairs wall! With Stevie and Jodi, Moira manages to haul Tayler back through the hole in the ceiling. Intrigued by the tiny hidey-hole they never knew existed, Stevie and Jodi peer inside — only to find a hidden chest. Inside, Jodi finds an old trousseau plus the matching manacles. Marcus arrives at Killarney telling Alex he's ready to do a day's work on the farm — after all, you can't learn about a business by being stuck in an office all day. Alex thinks he's joking, but Marcus insists he's up to it. Alex decides to put Marcus in his place — and send him running back to his laptop. The pair head off on motorcycles to bring in a herd of Herefords for sale the next day. Things quickly turn competitive and Marcus ends up taking a spill, injuring his knee in the process … although he doesn't let on to Alex until he tries to free a bogged calf and his knee gives way. The men camp out overnight and Marcus begins to open up about his life. Alex flares when he realises that Marcus has no accounting qualifications. Why has Bryce hired him? It doesn't make sense. Alex is convinced that Marcus isn't telling him everything. Marcus insists on bringing the cattle in, despite his injury, but this almost leads to disaster when he can't start his bike. Alex has to save him from being trampled by the cattle. They return; both grudgingly respecting the other. Alex keeps Marcus at Killarney and there is a truce — of sorts. But Alex believes in the old dictum of keeping your enemies close. In this episode of McLeod's Daughters, Tayler finds an injured possum. "High School Musical" stud ZAC EFRON recently hinted that he prefers fuller figure girls, like his "Hairspray" co-star, NIKKI BLONSKY. Well, he might have really meant it. The "Star" magazine claims that Zac and Nikki are a couple! A friend says, "He goes on and on about how funny, smart and pretty Nikki is."
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning to marry before she serves her jail sentence. They are planning a 21 September wedding, before Nicole starts her sentence on 24 September.
NICOLE RICHIE is having a boy, and CHRISTINA AGUILERA is having a girl. Christina hasn't actually CONFIRMED her pregnancy yet. But both women are supposedly due in December.

Roughly six years after being charged with multiple counts of child pornography, R. KELLY will finally stand trial. A judge set September 17th as the start date for his trial. R Kelly has pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of child pornography for allegedly videotaping himself having sex with a girl who may have been as young as 14.
BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE have worked out a CUSTODY AGREEMENT for their kids in case they break up.The adopted kids, MADDOX, ZAHARA and PAX, are technically Angelina's. Brad has given them all his last name, but he never legally adopted them. The three of them, plus Brad and Angelina's biological daughter, SHILOH, will live and travel with their mum most of the time. But Brad will spend summers with them and weekends when he can. Scandal
It's official! After 34 months of wedded bliss, it's all over for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline. Their divorce became official yesterday.
Britney is paying Kev $15,000 a month for his share of the child support, plus an extra 20 grand a month for alimony, but the alimony payments stop in November. Kevin wants more money, and he’s going to fight for it.
Surprisingly, both Britney and Kevin have equal, shared custody of the kids.
We still don't know why the wedding of USHER and TAMEKA FOSTER was called off on Saturday, but Tameka spoke to "People" magazine yesterday and said all the rumors we've heard up to this point are BOGUS.
The only thing she did give away is that she ended up in the HOSPITAL over the weekend with pregnancy complications.
She said, "We had a scare, but I am fine and the baby is fine."
"Vanity Fair" magazine has released it’s 2007 Best-Dressed list, which is in the September issue.
Not surprisingly, the impossible-to-escape BECKHAMS, DAVID and VICTORIA, are on it.

Episode 171 — 'Second Chances'
It's shearing time at Drovers Run. The sheep are in great condition; the weather is perfect; the girls are keen; the first day all brimming with promise...
Jodi has the day planned out to the last detail. But her easy confidence and control are about to be tested.
Into her morning — totally unannounced — Matt suddenly appears. With the trial over and free of his assumed identity, he's journeyed back to the place and the girl that have meant so much to him.
For Jodi, however, the reunion is complicated, fraught with strong emotions and doubts. And Jodi's best-laid plans are about to face another test. Someone forgot to confirm the shearers' booking. The shearers have taken work elsewhere and won't be available for days. This really puts the girls under pressure.
Jodi enlists Matt to help with the shearing. Things seem to be getting back on track. But when Riley comes on board the day takes another twist into the unpredictable.
When Jodi is thrown by a casual glimpse of Matt's old bullet wound, it is Riley who helps her recover. Later, Jodi tries to explain to Matt what's going on in her head, but it's all too difficult and their relationship takes another backward step.
Stevie and Alex fare no better — his willingness to extend a forgiving hand to Tayler angers Stevie, who doesn't believe that he's ever been willing to do that for her.
Meanwhile, Regan has her hands full dealing with Tayler. Regan is still trying to cover for the youngster's mistakes and provocations, but her generosity is wearing thin with the others who would be happy to see the back of their unhelpful visitor.
Fearing that the girls are about to give her her marching orders, Tayler steals the shearers' wages, and Stevie's ute.
But a shocked and angry Regan rises above the occasion and her act of startling generosity is a revelation to Tayler. Ultimately it allows Tayler to reach out for forgiveness and acceptance. The end of the episode sees her welcomed into the Drovers' circle — with conditions attached.
A moment of thoughtless rivalry between Matt and Riley causes Matt to reverse his ute into the stobie pole. The transformer comes loose and plummets into the ute tray. The ute is now 'live' and the boys are trapped. The crashing transformer also starts spot fires and electrical hazards. No-one notices that a fire has started in the shearing shed. The whole building is in danger of disappearing in a spectacular fury of smoke and flame. While the girls save the shed, Matt and Riley must work together to get themselves out of the ute without electrocuting themselves.
Jodi's CFS training proves invaluable and the dangerous blaze is brought under control. She then helps to rescue Matt from the live ute.
Matt and Jodi manage to reach some sort of détente. Looks like he'll be sticking round.
Episode 172 — 'All The Wrong Places'
A charming and good-looking man arrives at Drovers looking for Killarney. His name is Marcus Turner and he is quite enamoured of Stevie. He's been sent by Bryce to look over Killarney's books, inspect the property and report back. That theory goes out the window when Marcus and Alex start to clash heads. First Marcus questions Alex's call on the dam that Drovers are building near the boundary; he thinks that Alex could be more hard-ball. Then Marcus flirts with Stevie and also manages, inadvertently (or so he says), to spill the beans on Alex's unfortunate situation with Bryce (him saving his bacon over Fiona). The sooner Marcus is out of Killarney, the better for Alex. But it does make you wonder, why is this lackey of Bryce's so keen to push Alex's buttons?
It all comes to a head in a pool game. Alex and Marcus are up one game each, the winner of the decider gets to choose some sort of punishment for the loser. Meanwhile Stevie, who has accepted an innocent beer with Marcus, watches on as the men partake in what is essentially, a "manhood" measuring competition. Marcus loses and Alex couldn't be happier; time for revenge on a public level. He challenges Marcus to perform a hundred push-ups on top of the pool table — a task Marcus completes with ease. An uneasy truce is formed between the two men.
The next day, Marcus finishes his report and sends it off to Bryce. He thanks Alex and they part ways. Both men are happy to never see one another again. Marcus is home free, or so he thinks. Bryce, having heard the two men got on okay, does a back flip and tells Marcus to return to Killarney and work the books a little longer. Marcus is outraged; that he wasn't part of the deal. Bryce wants him there as long as he's happy his investment is safe. But why is Bryce so determined to put these men in the same orbit? Marcus returns to Killarney and tells Alex that he's stuck with him. Neither are happy about the situation.
Kate's romantic exit has stirred up some confusing emotions for Jodi. She's taken over the role of roster queen left behind by Kate and she's done an awful job of it. Regan delicately points out that Jodi's rosters don't make any sense; she's even forgot about building the new dam. Jodi adjusts her attitude and decides on building a bigger dam, a super dam! Jodi becomes obsessed with building the dam. So obsessed she ends up busting a Killarney pipe, inadvertently injuring Regan and winding up buried in an avalanche of dirt. So why is Jodi behaving like such a looney?
Jodi confesses to Matt that she's actually jealous of Kate. She's gone off and got a life, a very romantic and exotic life in Africa, while Jodi is left behind, building dams. Jodi doesn't want to sound like a brat, but she can't help the way she feels. Matt offers wise words of support; Jodi's time will come.
Meanwhile, Tayler is trying to prove herself to the Drovers' girls, so volunteers to do a branding job. Things go pear shaped until Patrick helps her out. The two of them establish a strong friendship.

The latest news around the library is that Nepia Fox-Matamua, the cousin of wanabee fashionaire Cameron, has a secret lets say admirer. Now im not going to burst his bubble but you all know who im talking about. . .
