For some unfathomable reason, PARIS HILTON has been given a starring role in a MUSICAL. She'll play PAUL SORVINO'S daughter in a flick called "Repo! The Genetic Opera" which is described as a futuristic musical thriller.
It's being directed by the guy who directs the "Saw" movies. And yes. . . Paris is going to sing in the movie.
Wow, I stumbled across a photo of NICOLAS CAGE'S 16-year-old son, WESTON, and was surprised to see he is a big, scary goth-type guy.
This is a pic of Weston with his mother, actress Christina Fulton.
NICOLE RICHIE ended up being sentenced to FOUR days behind bars instead of the FIVE days MANDATORY MINIMUM.
Plus, she gets credit for one day already served, thanks to the SIX HOURS she spent in custody when she was arrested. That means that she and her unborn fetus only have to serve THREE days. The sentence must be served by September 28th.
Nicole was also fined more than $2,000, given three years' probation and ordered to attend an alcohol education course.
If she gets convicted of DUI again, she's looking at a year in prison. And if she were to KILL someone while driving impaired, she'd be charged with MURDER instead of manslaughter.

There's nothing confirmed here yet, but the hip-hop rumour site MediaTakeOut.com says EMINEM and KIM MATHERS may have reconciled. . . and Kim might be pregnant with Eminem's child.
They already have an 11-year-old daughter named Hailie.
USHER was supposed to get married on Saturday to his pregnant girlfriend Tameka Foster. But it never happened. The wedding was called off at the last minute. . . literally HOURS before guests were scheduled to arrive.
Usher's publicist said; "It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond the Fourth and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."
Usher and Foster are expecting a child. He's 28. . . she's 37. This was going to be her second marriage and she already has three kids from her first husband.
About 100 guests were expected at the ceremony, including JAY-Z and BEYONCÉ, JANET JACKSON and JERMAINE DUPRI.
